What is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card?

A short traveler’s explainer — not official legal advice.

Unofficial service. TDAC Entry (tdac-entry.com) is not the Thai Immigration Bureau and is not a government website. The official TDAC form is free at tdac.immigration.go.th.

TDAC stands for Thailand Digital Arrival Card. It is an electronic form most international travelers complete before arriving in Thailand. It replaced the old paper arrival card that used to be handed out on the plane or at the airport.

You typically enter passport details, how you arrive, and where you plan to stay. After the form is submitted on the government website, you get a confirmation to keep on your phone or print.

It is not a visa

A TDAC is a declaration, not permission to enter. It is not an e-visa, tourist visa, or “approved” status. Completing it does not guarantee that you will be allowed into Thailand.

A Thai immigration officer at the airport, land border, or seaport makes the entry decision. They can still ask questions, check your documents, or refuse entry even if you have a TDAC confirmation.

Free official form, or paid help

The official form is free on tdac.immigration.go.th. TDAC Entry is an unofficial assistance service: we review your details and submit them on that official website for a USD 49 fee.
